Les Miserables fans and Django fans eyeball each other in the lobby?
Who has the most Kleenex, snacks, firepower?

Some of the guns were out of time.
The plantation owner (Don Johnson) with a Henry Repeating Rifle in 1858.
The wife having a gun held to her head that is clearly a Ruger Old Army.
The bag mask scene was hilarious.

Dude, I had Costco amounts of Kleenex in my purse!!Tactical purse?

I think a critical analysis of the contents of ladies' big purses would make an interesting discussion. Of course, I am genetically disqualified from all but readonly participation.

Saw 'em both. Enjoyed 'em both.

Me too. At certain points, both were more boring than watching paint dry. Highs and Lows.

I love Tarantino films but I'll pass on Django since it stars a racist pig over rated actor(Jamie Fox)

I really enjoyed Django. Did anyone happen to see the original Django from the 60's? A REALLY neat film if you like spaghetti westerns. You can get it from Netflix.

I thought this thread was about Django Reinhardt. Now there was a guitar genius.

I did catch that. He looks great for his age (I'm sure some make-up helped) because I recognized him right away.

That's what I was thinking. Actually, what I was thinking was, "somebody named an opera 'Django' WTF?"

tarentino was never the greatest. he goes into waaaay too much detail, trying to cover the fact his movies have nothing to say.

since it involves that puddle of pig vomit jamie fox, i'd sooner take a twenty out of my wallet, and wipe my butt with it than see that tripe those 2 critters call a movie.

les mis? suffering french peasants?....ummm....no. the thought of tearing out my own brain stem, and usding to jump rope at the closest 4 way intersection rates higher on my list.
