Sorry, but I think the limit should be that no one is allowed to own any magazine or ammo drum which can be attached to a semi or auto weapon which can carry more than 1000 live rounds each.

The reason is that no reasonable person needs magazines or drums with a higher limit. Anything higher is totally insane.

Call me a Liberal, if you may. It's for the children, I tell you.

Now, does your new stance apply to belt-fed or not? After all, it's not a magazine.

But I really want a 1001 round mag for my Hesse.

Make it 10,000 and I will sign onto your proposal.

It's for the children.

10,000 of 223 almost equals one 10mm round....funny how math works like that

From now on, you get 5 gallons of gas a week, 1 kilowatt of electricity per week, and 10 gallons of water per week. How do you like them apples?

True, it does not apply. It's fed from an ammo can. They should be exempt. It's for the children. Ammo cans are fun to play with and make great toys. For the children.

No, you're not. Then again, I might have to institute a ban on any handheld weapon over 1,000lbs. For the children, of course.

10,000 is very reasonable. It will save many lives.

Nothing like a 30lb+ magazine for a 10lb gun.

I think we ought to limit politicians. No one needs more than 30.

I saw Juan Williams on a talk show after the shooting and he said that very thing.

I tell yu what. The rest of us can have high capacity magazines, and to ease your consciencce, you will only be allowed the Barney Fife special. You can have a revolver with one round, as long as it is securely buttoned in your top pocket.

Belt fed is not a magazine so is therefore exempt.
