This is really sad. Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. Where is Jesse, Rahm, and Durban? Why aren't they marching in the streets demanding justice?

Clearly the lax gun laws in the rest of the country are the problem. We need Chicago style gun laws for all of the USA.
Also, Mexico's gun problems are a result of the USA's gun laws, but Canada, that has no gun epidemic...well the USA's gun laws are responsible for moose<>vehicle collisions there.
[Rahm] Emanuel, the mayor of one of the most gun-controlled cities in the country, praised the committee passage and says even stronger regulations are required to protect communities. He added that there is a need "for common-sense laws that provide the residents of our cities with the safety they deserve."
He didn't explain why it has done the exact opposite in his city.

If they were to ban firearm possession by felons, that would keep guns out of the hands of felons........
