Hard to make a 1911 ugly

Taurus did it with their gold bling editions of the PT1911. A number of factory Colt special editions are ugly IMO. Most other factory 1911s are fairly good looking with a few exceptions.

And then you have home brewed ugly:

At least none of them have rails. And even the cartoon stripes aren't as ugly as the hard chrome or stainless ones that turn up all the time
