Well, neither of them are "rifles". :)

This is a Black Rifle - it's black, it's long, it's heavy and it's thick.

At a glance, I see that thing and wonder where you connect the compressed air and where do you put the nails. I have to look 2 or 3 times before a I see a gun.
That aside, I bet it is a sweet shooter.

I strongly considered one of those (SBR'd though) but took another route instead.

That being said, much congratulations! It is sweet!

Nice! I got to shoot the KRISS all day today. Thing runs great and very fast on multiple targets. Very happy with it. The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't tell when the mag went dry.

Thanks. The slide (or bolt) doesn't stay open when empty?

Doesn't that thing take Glock mags?

It stays open on the last round but you know how you can feel a mag empty in an AR? There is no feel or sound to recognize an empty mag in it so you pull the trigger and nothing. Relize you are out of ammo and reload. It does take glock 21 mags

Very nice. Those Kriss are so unique, ugly, yet super cool.
Glad it functions too. The original was designed as a FA only correct? To replace MP5's and Uzi's with security details??

Full Auto

From what I get, yeah that's what it was designed for. It's a great firearm. When I say it's quick on multiple targets, I mean it. Even as the set up that I have. I wish my state would allow SBRs. That is the ultimate set up for this platform

Does it have a shoulder thing that goes up?

MrMurphy
01-13-2013, 13:12
The original was built as a technology demostrator, specifically in .45 since people know it has recoil, and to show how the Kriss action cancels out the recoil.

They're supposedly working on rifle and shotgun versions.

It's an interesting system. When it works. Having spoken to guys who've shot the full auto models and the various semiautos....that can occasionally get interesting, though hopefully their 'not first production run' guns are a bit more reliable now.

Thus making them SBRs.

Not exactly.

Several very old firearms, WWII and before, no longer need any sort of tax stamp if the original, or replica of the original, shoulder stock is attached.

To be safe, check each model on the ATF book or website.
