The H*LL with it, I need GA!

I thought I would only focus on a couple of big bore guns this year and not buy anything else. We are barely into the first month and *BAM* this thing followed me back to the office!

Ho-well, guess it does not matter, especially when you come across a good deal and it's something you really want.

Found a very clean S&W 915, 9mm, 15 rounds auto at my LGS I always visit and it was just traded in put out in the case. This thing is in awesome condition, very hard to find one that's not all beat up. The original receipt was in the box and it was bought back in December 21, 1993, I guess it was someone’s Christmas gift. The buyer paid $389.77 back in 1993, and I paid $350.00 19 years later.

I have always loved the S&W (old) autos because they are reliable, good looking and solid guns. You can’t go wrong with the 80s and 90s S&W. There are still some out there in like new condition waiting for someone to buy!

Nice gun, don't feel like you are "over the top" however. My 908 came from the same series and I almost bought a second one last week. SWMBO found out and staged an "intervention" of sorts.

They are good guns. I have S&W models 3904, 908 and 559 in 9mm. Also a 1066 in 10mm. All have been flawless. I really enjoy owning and shooting these old guns. Congrats on your new purchase & enjoy!

The 915 is a very good gun, and very underrated. Too bad, I got rid of mine many years ago. Great catch, especially at Carter's. Congrats!

:rofl:, the funny thing is, it had the owners address and drivers license # listed on the receipt. I guess you forgot it was in the bottom of the box. I guess I'll drop by your house later :tongueout:
