Gen 4 Disassembly Question

I just bought a new gen 4 G22 and noticed that it is more difficult to disassemble/reassemble than my gen 3 guns and not just because it is a new gun. It just seems stiffer on its rails than the gen 3's I have had. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.

Noticed this also on my Gen 4 19 Never this tough on my Gen 3 22 when I had it. Those pull down side tabs are murder on your fingers on the Gen 4s. Still love the gun though.

'Slide lock'.

Your pulling the slide back too far. 1/16th to 1/8th is all you need. Pull the slide lock down and release the slide. It's no more difficult than a Gen3.

Get the extended slide lock. I use it on my gen 4 17, works much better
