I'm not even looking for one of those, but I'd drop a 100 dollar bill on it fast.......

I'd jump all over it for $100. After market stocks are plentiful and so are replacement parts if you should need any.

The price range on SKS has been $250 to $500 depending on the matching SS#, condition and origin.

For a $100 its worth it if it works. as for SS#, each part will have a matching #, stock, gun, bolt, bolt carrier and rear housing.

I was in a gun shop the other day, had had 3 SKS's, in about the same condition as yours, and was asking $500 for them. He sold 2 while I was there. Probably because he was out of AK's and AR's.

Heck, I've been trying to sell off a few SKS's (Yugo in cosmoline, Romanian) in the $350.00 range to friends, and can't. Think I may go up on my prices. :whistling: Imagine what my Albanians would go for.

Does it have a bayonet lug?

Can you take some better pics on Sunday during the day (natural sunlight is best)?

That stock definitely looks burned:crying:

Put Crapco 30rds magazine in it. Call it “Assault weapon” and you will sell in on Gunbroker for $1000 easily. Gun buying craze is unreal right now.

Grab couple of spray cans and paint is all “cammo” and you will get $1500 for it.

I'd take a guess that pre-Dec. 14, market value would have been $200 - $300. Now, I'd make a rough guess of +50%.

"Wow" that is in some rough shape for sure. I'm sure though that with a little tender loving care it could be made into a useful rifle. I love taking old rifles and turning them into shooters again.
A few years ago I bought a M1 Garand in as is condition for $325 now she is a real sweet looking shooter.
Total spent for everything including the rifle, new op rod and spring and new stock and a few other little things the rifle ended up being $625. It was a total labor of love bringing it back to life. I have been offered over a $1,000 for it, but it's not going anywhere. Good luck and I certainly would have paid a $100 for it.

That thing looks like a POS. In Canada, where everything is more expensive, they will go 100 from the store. Or if you buy ammo, they throw one in for 75 (1,140 rounds of 7.62x39 milsurp plus a Norinco SKS for 360$).
You can get a Russian one for 200.
What's the allure of the Chinese SKS? Because there's an embargo on more coming in?
75 bucks and clean it up, no more than 100.

Well we are in america.. and prices are through the roof.

I honestly dont think it was fire that got the stock.. there is alot of rust around the but stock end plate and the cleaning kit. I have it smotherd in a baking soda paste at the moment.

Friend of mine said a dog might have pissed on it haha
