Fortunately I got mine a couple months back. Cabela's had one in stock at $349 and I grabbed it. Seņora R. said 'Merry Christmas' so it worked out OK.

Thought I overpaid for it, but now seeing regular 10-22's at stupidly high prices. Can't say how things are going to go, but at least I got the goodies I wanted before SHTF.

And a pie in the face to Obongo for being gun salesman of the year for the fifth consecutive time!

Last time I checked, Bass Pro Shop and Academy Sports were fully stock on those. Not very popular on my neck of the woods.

A local CT shop has them for $299. They won't ship at the moment with all the craziness going on.

Wow. When was the last time you checked? Here in Louisiana there are no 10/22's of any kind to be found any where.

my most recent 5 purchases in 2012 were in preparation for what is happening right now. they were:

Kel Tec PMR 30
Romanian mini Draco
Colt LE6920 M4
Ruger 10 22 take down
slide fire solutions bump fire stock for AK 47

I knew this was coming and I have been preparing for it for the past 5 years.

dang, these were everywhere a few months ago :(

I bought a 10/22 sport model for $200, and I'm planning on getting the ATI foldable stock for it...win-win.

Even though I have 2 "standard" 10/22s I wasn't a big fan. I handled the first TD to show up at a shop in my area and bought it on the spot. I like it a lot.

They are out there but it takes a bit of work to find at the moment.

Well i went to scheels today to see all the empty gun racks and they were stocked with 10/22s, they had my take down for $299. so it had to come home with me. Whats the deal with people going crazy on gun broker buying 10/22s? Scheels had about every one in stock.

Simple.

It's a reliable, accurate semiauto rifle that can use hi-cap mags and ammo is cheap and most gun owners already have thousands of rounds on hand.

Like I said....simple:wavey:

No worries, word has it they'll be discontinuing the 10/22 in favor of a reduced capacity 7/22.

Same here. Plenty of ammo and mags. And a TD 10/22.
