Glock releases the 30s, yes that's the big news from glock!

I was hoping for a single stack 9 but I guess I'll be buying an XDs9 this year instead.

Definitely not "earth Shattering" or "Big News", but many have frankensteined their own version with many asking Glock to build this very weapon. It's better than a new website.

Other than a .45 Glock that fits into 9mm/.40 holsters, I don't see the point.

To be "let down", I would have had to have actually been foolish enough to believe Glock's hype of "Big news".

Says who? Glock? I'm sure CZ would disagree when it come to European countries. Lets face it Glock is loosing ground rapidly even in the US. Many Police Dept's are getting rid of there old used glocks and going with S&W and other brands , while many military and police in europe use CZ 75s.
Glock is now learning, or should be learning what Harley Davidson learned a few years back. You can't keep making the same product over and over and expect to remain #1. Times change and so do the people buying there products. Lets get real Glock hasn't done anything innovative or of real importance that someone else hasn't done first in years.
Like my Gen 3 G26 it a good gun but it certainly is nothing special, it looks just like every other glock. Yea it shoots well but it's ugly and boring, and Glock just keeps putting out the same old guns with a few little cosmetic changes year after year. For many glock owners,Glock goodness and perfection has become glock brass in my face which sure doesn't make me want to trade my Gen 3 G26 that was supposed to already be glock perfection to it finest for a Gen 4 G26. I mean really what is so innovative about the gen 4 that would make me want spend more money to move to a gen 4. A few different dimples on the grip?

I'm quiet certain many Gun Magazines articles will make the 30s the next best thing to sliced bread.

To be fair lets not forget the .45 GAP.

I told my brother the same thing when he was picking out his first 9 mm.

Darn! I'm tragically disappointed for another year. I was CERTAIN this would finally be the year for the compact version of.the original Glock 7.

No, 36 slide on a 30 frame, still double stack.
