I believe the mags are the same, besides the markings.

Yes. Think about it, the wide portion of a .357 SIG round is essentially a .40 round. This means same feed lips.

Only difference between .40 and .357sig mags is the lettering/numbering on the mag and the follower. You can shoot .40 out of .357sig mags and vise versa.

It's supposed to work but they are not identical or Glock would mark them with both calibers like S&W does.

How do you know this?

I use the .357 Sig in my .40 cal mags in a G27 without any issues at all.

I have both, and the mags I have do have a slight difference. On top of the mags, at the rear where the primer end of the round sits against the mag, there is a cutout opening there. There is a slight difference in the cutout angles of the .40 vs the .357.

I haven't shot the .40 mags yet in the 32c, so i can't attest to them shooting the same. But, I am definitely assuming that they do!

I'm sure this question is coming up more often, due to the relative availability of .357sig mags-- at least at certain moments during the last days- as compared to .40sw mags.

I nabbed 4 .357sig mags for use in my G22 and 23, simply because I could get them at normal retail last week.

I have done the closest visual inspection possible. The followers are absolutely identical to the naked eye.

I would take pics, but even my nice camera with good lighting can't match the human eye, so if you don't believe, please do your own inspection.

I am comparing the LATEST versions of these. I can make no claim as far as earlier versions, and I don't even know if the followers have ever changed.
