Soooo, is Glock gonna start making 7rd mags for the G22 and G17 and such if Obummer and mayor New York have their way? Just a thought.

I hope GLOCK wouldn't stoop to New York's level of stupidity!

Hopefully enough New Yorkers will be smart and not comply.

Only if law enforcement requested it with a nice big fat order.

Us peons don't matter to Gaston.

If Glock survives after Gaston is gone, Glock is going to be born again and design a TON of cool new products, ala Ruger.

I'm going to say no. Basically, if you live in NY and don't already have a Glock, you aren't ever going to be able to buy one, except for the 2 models that feature 6 round mags.

Why would a police dept want a 7 round mag when they are allowed to have the regular capacity ones?

That's just silly. At the Glock armorer school they said that more than 80% of their customers were civilians. If Glock sees a profit in making 7 rd magazines, they'll make them.

It was satire.

If the NYPD, one of their biggest LEO customers wanted them, glock would build them.

If the people in NY, much more than the NYPD, wanted them, I doubt Glock would do it.

We will see, if the NY law isn't shut down in the courts.

Not for 1 state they wont.

Then where is the single stack 9mm, or the carbine etc.....

Look at the glock 30s. Customers have been doing this FOR YEARS, but glock only produced it when a law enforcement dept requested it.

Did you know that glock makes a different magazine catch/release that is inbetween the stock and extended version? Wouldn't that be a huge hit for us civilians? It was custom made for law enforcement and not available to us.

Gaston has always been this way. This is not anything new for anyone that knows glock.

I worked for glock last year as one of their commercial sales managers. You will never see a slim 9. Their answer is always : We make combat pistols. Glock has absolutely no interest in listening to their customers nor following trends.

Apparently they don't believe there would be enough sold to make a profit. If there is anything Gaston knows, it's how to make a profit.

Looks like revolvers and 1911s will be the new norm in NY. Aside from a few other models, that's all new gun owners will be able to buy.

Glocks are so cheap to make, Glock could come out with a single stack 9mm tomorrow and it would absolutely be profitable. NO manufacture builds service pistols for less than Glock.

I'm guessing both aftermarket and some type of conversion kit will be offered by a third party.

You can bet someone (Glockmeister etc) is doing a LEGO type insert and spring. Back to 1911's and Cheif Specials , kinda like it was BEFORE GLOCK!!!:crying:
