Purchased a G36 today! Looking forward to shooting it Friday! Read lots of things online....I just have more confidence in the Glock. I have owned 5 Glocks and have never had a problem. Can't wait to shoot it!

Congrats! I have two of them and I have been very happy. ZERO issues with ejections or anything at all.

Yeah, my Kahr P45 was garbage and Kahr treated me like garbage because it needed to be fixed.

I liked my 36 ,BUT everytime I pulled the trigger, my finger was pinched between the frame and mag.

Congrats OP. The 36 is a good one.

I liked my 36 ,BUT everytime I pulled the trigger, my finger was pinched between the frame and mag.

Pearce +0 mag floor plates prevent that for me.

Same here... two of them, my favorite pistol.
If I had to give up all but one handgun for life, it would be a tough choice between my G36 or G19.

I would never sell either G36, not at any price.

I liked my 36 ,BUT everytime I pulled the trigger, my finger was pinched between the frame and mag.

Consider using a file to make a larger gap in front between the frame and the mag body.
Worked for a friend of mine.

I read someplace on GT that the gap between magazine and frame, can be help with a #29 rubber o-ring slid down the magazine. It will fill the gap space up.Try a good hardware store to find them.

i wanted a gun smaller than a G19 so that eliminated the G36. i bought a PM45 and had to use twice the "break-in" ammo they suggested to make it run right.

id suggest the XDs 45.

Good choice. My pm45 kept dropping the mag under recoil. Annoying.

I liked my 36 ,BUT everytime I pulled the trigger, my finger was pinched between the frame and mag.

When I got a Pierce +0 mag extension that problem went away for me.

My 36 serves me well. Easy carry with no problems. You'll enjoy yours too. Lots of folks whack at the 36, but mine works well. Maybe it's the luck of the draw.

Just picked up a brand new 36 one week ago. I live in CT and just so happen to work in Newtown.

My EDC for the last several years has been a 27 but with a Democrat governor and Democrat legislative body I'm fully expecting a ban here on magazines over 7 rounds hence my purchase of the 36. I had two 27's so I traded one in against the purchase of the 36. Got $350.00 for it which I thought was decent. Paid $599.00 for the 36. Had a hard time finding one in stock so I didn't let the price bother me too much.

I've been to the rang twice with it so far 250 rnds the first time and 100 the second trip. Shot a variety of different brands and weights both ball and hollow points. Not one malfunction of any kind and no BTF. Accuracy was very good as long as I did my part. Of all the ammo I shot accuracy seemed best with the 185 gr. Speer Gold Dot so that's what I'm carrying.

Only negative at this point is the really bad pinky pinch I'm getting. Actually drew blood after the 2nd range session so I'll be picking up one of those Pearce +0 extensions for sure.

I conceal it IWB with a Blade Tech Kydex holster which works for me and I find it to wear more comfortably than the 27, I think the weight is distributed more evenly.
