So stoked after weeks of searching I found a LGS that had a gen 4 g23. And for a great price. Didn't think I would ever find one. And what's even more beautiful is it comes with 3 magazines. Beautiful! Can't wait for my 3 days to be up so I can pick it up and hit the range. Any suggestions on a good EDC holster for the G23?

Nice!
My Gen4 is the nicest shooting G23 I have ever owned(including 2 Gen2's, 1 Gen3).

I will second this, I have had gen 2 and 3 23's and this gen 4 is hands down the softest and smoothest shooting and without the snappiness of the previous gens. Need to get another one now that I think about it.
Oh it also throws brass to the next county.:tongueout:

Congrats. I really like mine. I almost named it goldilocks because it's "just right."
The Galco Kingtuk works well -- I've had no problems with it, and even tested out running with it, in case the need arose, but for carrying on planned runs, I would prefer something with 2 levels of retention rather than just friction. It took a few days of wearing it for it to mold itself to my hip.

Thanks both of you guys for making me even more excited for Tuesday!! (Pickup day). I was minutes from purchasing a gen3 but literally one of the last LGS's I was going to call on way home from work had a few in stock! It's a late Christmas here!!
And thanks for everyone else's input as well. Looks like I made the right choice. And so far I love the grip on it! We will know that answer for sure once the G23 takes its first spin

I use a BladeTech Razor, and also a Galco Kingtuck for my EDC concealed. They are both fantastic. Bladetech is easier to don and the Galco is a little bit more concealable. Both are very comfortable.

Thanks man, please give us a range report...and pichers!!!:whistling:
Yup I got in the mood yesterday after seeing a 4th gen 23 at the lgs. So I thought I better get it. It now only takes 20 min here in Michigan to get a pistol. Fill out the form, get the check done and no more pistol permits. Well unless you buy from a non dealer. Yup I can't wait to shoot this weekend. I want to compare it to my gen 3 G19. Ron
I carry mine in a Milt Sparks VMII. Excellent holster

Consider, for IWB. Both the raven and phl that are compared above.
I am a new 23/4 owner (and27/4) and got both of these right away.
I've been wearing my 27 in the phl since 730am, and it's 1030pm now, including 4 hours on the road straight plus loading 2 cars for a trip. Very comfortable, and no issues.
Enjoy your 23/4!!!
