I understand they prevent lint, dust and other debris from getting into the frame.

Some also say the plugs give the frame a finished look.

I like the Sunset Insert in my G19, Gives it a nice clean,flush look. Allows you to carry extra batteries for CT Grips, or an extra last resort round.

I use the Glockmeister version. Probably keep's the internal's cleaner, but it will speed up your reloads. Run several on the timer with and without if you doubt it.

Just tossed the one I had in my 27, kept working out during a two day shooting class. I figured it was more of a liability than it was worth.

I bought and installed "The Grip Plug". It fit very smoothly in my 32c. It was one of the cheapest. I did buy it at Amazon.
