I posted this elsewhere but didn't get much info, so I"m asking here. We have one we bought a few years ago, pre Obama, and want to now sell but don't know what a fair price is. WE live in the south. We haven't done anything to improve it, it will come with 2 extra 10 round magazines. Please I'd appreciate opinions.

You can probably get $1200 or more for it. Fair would be what you paid, plus a modest 10% profit, sold to me. :)

LOL thanks for the response. Alas I don't think we paid for than $500 for it, I think less..so no way are we letting it go that cheap:)

Yeah, I remember them at $399. I didn't buy one, but I've been buying plenty of other things I could get 2x or 3x the money for, but I'm not selling. Good luck with your sale! You'll have no problems.

I wish I would have bought one when they were cheap. I wanted one bad but didnt even want to pay 6 for one like it was pre panic. Now the prices are just crazy

Non-converted, they were about $600-ish, last time I checked (pre-panic). Converted, it can be between $900-1500 or so, depending if you convert yourself or get a pro to do it.

I had mine done by a pro.

I have twice what I paid for the gun + conversion invested in magazines alone.

I have approximately $1960 invested in mine and could EASILY sell it all to the right buyer for $5000 or more.

I NEVER would.....but I could.

OP....$1500 would be a STARTING price for you. It will probably fetch more than that though. Good luck and don't forget.....

I paid $325, used, in 2006. Realistically, that's about what they're worth in stock form. Realistic went out the window several years ago though, and in the last month left the universe.

I might be wrong, if I am, someone please point it out. But from my understanding, putting a 10 round mag or twenty round drum on an unconverted Saiga 12 is not 922r compliant and a violation of Federal law.

I think I paid around $800 for mine about a year and a half ago. Here it is with a few modifications.http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af221/coxew/DSC_1002.jpg

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but as long as the magazine is made in the US (12 round surefire/md drum) it would be in compliance.
