Glocks newest pistol is not the single stack versions of the standard double stack Glocks. It is the double stack version of Glocks only single stack pistol. When a lot of Glock owners have been hoping for single stack Glocks, Glock did the exact opposite. So if everyone was wanting a Glock "rifle" would that inspire Glock to make a carbine? While I like the idea of the 30s because it is an new idea kinda. It would be nice to see something that really is new from Glock.:dunno:

If its overall width is actually less than a standard 30 then the 30S may interest me. However, I really can't see what is gained by stick a 36 slide on a 30 frame.

It lost 3 ounces. That doesn't sound like much but it now weighs about same loaded as a loaded G19 and is a little bit smaller. Not much smaller but enough to matter to me. To a former G30 owner like myself that means something.

I just want to know where to get one on blue label in Kansas.

I believe it is built on an SF frame.
Which, for me, at least, makes it sound a bit more interesting.
YMMV.

Yes it is on the old style Gen 3 SF receiver and not the newer Gen 4 receiver. I would prefer the Gen 4.
