I ordered 3 Pearce+2 grip extensions for my G26. Are there any issues with these such as feeding problems, jams, etc. I ordered them without doing proper research. Any input would be helpful.

I usually don't trust non factory mag parts, ( except the Tangodown Vickers Floorplates or GAP's) i've got a few of the factory +2's on backorder. Hopefully they show up.

Just make sure it fits solid so you dont have an embarrassing mag dump.

I have one and use it some, but never had an issues and its been sitting around loaded and it hasn't blown up yet. I don't see a problem.

They claim +2 on 9mm and +1 on 40, but don't be surprised if you get just one round in there on 9mm too. That's all I could get. For most people its more about the extended grip than the round count anyway when they go with that.

I may just cancel my order, best not to mess with the mags since this will be my CCW.

Don't cancel. I've Pearce + 2 magazine extensions on my G26 carry pistol. I've ran hundreds of rounds through them with nary an issue.

True it is, you probably will only pick up an extra round. 11+1 total. But they are dependable. Don't worry about it.

They look good and feel great as well.

In that case I will try it on one mag and see how it goes. Would a Wolf 10% mag spring help out?

Update: I went with the 26XL (no added capacity) extensions. Feels like a totally different gun.

I have one on my 27 for +1 and never had an issue with it.

You need to try the GAP mag base plates. I tried one and now there on all my subcompact mags.

I bought a bunch of factory 12rd GLOCK 9mm mags and carry my G26 12+1 for a few years now with them. Very durable and reliable.

Hard to find before the panic, harder now. (and they cost more than 15rd maga! But are easier to conceal for me)

I have a few of the +2 aftermarket also, but I had one do the "range dump" on me one day so they are not part of my carry platform.

I've used the Pearce +2 extensions on my G-26 mags at GSSF matches for a year. Not for added capacity but for a better grip. Never a problem, Ever!!

I don't see why there would be a problem. The G26 & G19 mags use the same magazine spring spring & it pushes up 15 rounds without issue in the G19.

Had zero problems after 500 rds. I've seen where people replace triggers, trigger weights and recoil springs on their carry weapon. Why not the mag...IMHO its a psychological thing...most malfunctions are usually ammo related.:wow:

I can't speak for the Pearce +2's, but I've had Pearce +1's on all my G26 mags since I bought my gun new & have had 0 problems with feeding, etc with over 1,000 rounds through it. This is also my CCW. I have no worries about performance with them. Completely dependable.

I'll second what SGT278ACR said. I chose Pearce +1s for my G26. Gives me a full grip up front, but doesn't add any more to the heel for concealability. The +1 gives a third finger groove that is the same size as the two existing finger grooves.

I got a few of these +2 mags some time ago from Brownells for my 26. All parts are factory Glock. Zero issues to date.

Why? what about the Vickers Makes them so reliable? I've had no issues with Pearce, Dawson precision, Arrendondo or Taylor freelance bases and/or springs in my glocks.

I use the Pearse +2's on my G27. No issues to date. Seem to help with recovering from snap of recoil, too.

I do not use that extention when I carry the same G27 while using a 40-9mm conversion barrel. I just use a stock G26 mag for that. Conceals a little better.

I have 4 I'll probably sell when you cannot find them anymore.

I bought one of these 10+2 mags when I bought my G26 at Cabelas. :cool:Wished later I had bought 2 so I ordered another from another supplier on line a couple weeks ago...hope I get it before it's outlawed. I really like the way this mag extends the grip, not to mention giving me 12 rounds. I am improving my group with the standard 10 round mag however by curling my pinky up underneath the grip. I have had n problems with either mag.

It would seem unnecessary to me.
Just slap that extension on there and enjoy!

I have a number of the +3 (9mm) or +2 (40 S&W) throughout my mags and have never had a problem with them. With a +3 in my G34 I can be at 20+1, and my 22 is at 18 rounds works for me in HD and competition when legal.
