The g22 RTF2/gills is more common than the rest.

The G22 RTF2 with gills is the more common of all the RTF2 models, but yes it is worth a little more than a regular G22 but, I can't say how much more it will bring, I guess it's more what someone is willing to give you for it. Glock is making new RTF Models but what you probably won't see is the gills. There is a lot more machine work in those slides than the straight serations. I plan to hold on to mine for as long as I possibly can, the RTF's that I have will be the last to go if I had to get rid of my Glocks. Unless you need the money I would hold onto it.

Gills? There might be something fishy here?

My LGS has a used 22RTF2 and they are asking $499 for it. Pricing of guns/ammo is all over the place right now.

Gills model is only worth a little more to someone who absolutely has to have that model, otherwise, not really worth much more.

I have a 17 & 19 RTF2 w/gills. Very sweet shooters, but once the Gen4 models came out, I prefer the gen4.

To the average person gills mean very little to some, it's like a FDE, or OD gun and they are willing to pay more

I have a Glock 23 RTF2 (Gen 3) with gills. They are harder than hens teeth to find so I guess you could say they are rare. Mine has never been shot and it is still as it came to me in the box.

How much do you think a 17 RTF2 is worth?

Well, here is a gunbroker auction that fetched $540.00 on Dec. 3, 2012

Here is an auction for the same gun that currently has a bid of $701.89. With all the talk of a new magazine capacity restriction, and high cap mags selling for $60-$80, the 2 high capacity mags it comes with could have something to do with the higher selling point.

I have seen NIB G19 RTF2s with gills go for $700-$800.
