Just got a G36 and was wondering if anyone sells an extended mag release.

I've got night sites, ghost trigger, stainless spring/rod, extended slide-stop, and Pearce +1 and +0 mag extensions. No extended mag-release so far. I was just thinking about posting a new thread on how much I love the light weight and thin profile of my G36! Congrats on one of the coolest Glocks! (yes, yes, they are all cool)

Thanks for the info, if you find a mag release let me know.

For novelty, you can get aftermarket parts for just about every part of the gun. For reliability and shootability, night sights is about the only thing you need.

The Glock 36 is a CCW, where size counts, you could make some up-grades (stainless spring/rod, ect.) But I would keep the accessories to a minimum. The 36 is my EDC,as it came out of the box.

With the exception of the Crimson Trace Laserguard, I elected to keep mine stock for EDC.

I would agree, though I do favor the Pearce +0 mag extensions.
My hands are so small the the standard mags with no extension are fine also, but I do like the +0 extensions.

I just picked up the 36 on Friday. Added night sights. I have 4 spare magazines on order. Will probably pick up a few Pearce +1 extensions.

IMO- it is better to keep your 36 (or any Glock) as stock as possible. The Glock design is what makes a Glock a Glock.

If it's going to be your carry gun, I don't think you would want to go with the extended magazine release. When you carry, the extended release will release the mag in your holster. Even more so if you use an inside the waistband holster. At least mine did, and I have heard of others having the same problem.
