Was looking for a G 17, could only find a 25 th anniversary
Model so I grabbed it. Should I shoot it or not? I brought it to use, but folks are telling me to lock it away. Just don't see these becoming major collectors items.

I wouldn't use it, I would put it away, there were only 2500 made with a special serial number that went from 25YUS0001 to 25YUS2500.
If you're just looking for one to shoot, maybe you can see about selling it and then getting a regular G17.
I'd keep it unfired and get a used shooter.

Saw one at the local gun store for sale....$700. No thanks. Lol
Saw one at one of our local gun store this weekend (usually the most expensive shop) for $840. It was gone when I got done with my range session. Yikes!

Thanks folks, I picked up a 34 also that I can shoot with while I think about it.
Hrm.
It might fetch some extra dough some day but I couldn't see it getting that high up.
2,500 is a pretty low number, but most Glock guys would rather have an RTF, OD glock or a Gen 1.

Mine is just in safe. Do I think it will go up? Not much. But I wanted it and I got it.
If I want to shoot one I grab the other ones.
