So the other day I sold a stripped Stag Lower and picked up a new toy. Here it is, Glock 20 blue label with 3 mags http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_cool.gif

Picked up some ammo locally from a very nice guy for 30 bucks for 75 rounds. Ordered 400 rounds from Underwood ammo, some defensive and FMJ http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_approve.gif

Good pick with the 20! I bought mine last June after owning my 29 and I love em both. Join us over on The Ten Ring for some 10mm info and pics.

Is a aftermarket barrel a must have for the G20 ? Pros and Cons ?

Now that is not a toy. You'll shoot someone's eye out with that kid. Hehe.

My opinion is yes. I ONLY shoot heavy loads/reloads with my aftermarket Lone Wolf barrel. The chamber is tighter with more support. If you intend to reload your 10mm brass, then definitely get the aftermarket barrel. If not, then you probably won't need one.

Yes on the heavy loads, have some Underwood ammo coming in and want to try I think its called PBR 10mm ammo ? Going to be reloading also.
Which aftermarket barrel is better ? Recoil spring a factor with the heavy loads ?

Excellent catch--congrats and enjoy! I run mine with a KKM stock-length barrel and XS Big Dots. That barrel is great, as the chamber support is better than the OEM barrel, as I load my own ammo for this caliber.
