This happened last Sunday.
One more for the good guys.

A sheriff's press release said Joshua Pinkham and Roy Potter, both White males, were sitting outside in the carport when three males, dressed in black, with masks over their faces, came around the corner of the duplex and approached the victims.

James M. Brady, 26, a White male, one of the robbers, pointed a handgun at Pinkham and ordered him to the ground.

Pinkham pulled out a handgun and gunfire was exchanged between the two.

Brady was shot and the two other suspects took off on foot.

No one else was injured.

EMS arrived and Brady was pronounced deceased.

Detectives are searching for the other two suspects.

No one has been charged in the incident.

According to Dave Bristow, spokesman for the sheriff's office, the incident was an attempted robbery.

The investigation is continuing.

Great! The anti-constitutionalists will call this another gun homicide.

Well, it is a homicide. The question is whether the homicide was justified.
