Just purchased a Glock 26 Gen 3 to use as my primary. Took it to the range tonight and was pleasantly surprised at the way it handled. I had shot some other models in that size and didn't like the feel at all. The Glock was surprising in the recoil and I put some nice groupings together. Shot the first 50 rounds preparing for the CCW certification on Sunday. Baby Glock is a good carry weapon! Now to buy a good holster.

The Glock 26, is a great carry gun. I usually carry a G19 15-round mag as a backup mag. I use a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC IWB holster. Great holster.

Many of us shoot the subcompacts better than their larger bretheren. They are well-designed.

I think it's because the hump is right in the middle of your palm.

I never leave home without mine.

Take a look at the horsehide, combat-cut White Hat IWB holster. On a good gunbelt, it doesn't even know you're there.

Awesome choice for a carry gun! I have the Gen 3 G26 also. Concealed in an ankle holster as I have been confined to a wheelchair for over 2 years now. Took my 18 year old step-daughter to the range a couple times recently. She never fired a handgun before, but she gets better groups than I do with the G26... and my groups aren't bad either. :wavey:

Good for you!
I just picked up the same weapon a few weeks back...thinking I am gonna like it.

Wifey loves her G26. Put the Glock OEM +2 extensions on both mags and the grip is perfect now without adding hardly anything to the size. Two more rounds are nice to have too.

I picked up same weapon as my first "baby" Glock about 3 weeks ago. Awesome little shooter. It actually lines up better for me without any pinky extensions just the way it came.

I carry my G26 in a CrossBreed Quickclip holster. It's my favorite carry weapon!

I've been looking at that exact same holster. How does it work while sitting at a desk or say...in a booth at a resturant?

I picked up my first Glock back in December, a 26 gen 4, and I planned on getting a 19 for the house. Wife picked up my 26 to check it out and told me that was the gun for her. I plan to pick up my second G26 tomorrow if my LGS still has the new Gen 3 that was in stock today. I also am still deciding on a IWB hoster. I was sold on the Old Faithful until another GT member pointed out the Comp Tac's have the hardware covered on the back and might be more comfortable. I am now leaning toward the Comp Tac Minotaur or a Tucker "The Answer." Decisions...:dunno:

I have one of the last OD 26s manufactured. Wouldn't take a Yankee dime for it. (I don't know where that phrase came from, just heard it all my life.) All my Glocks (well, just a 19 and 30) are OD except for the 10mm 20 and they didn't make it in OD.

I'll gladly give you a Yankee quarter for the OD 19!
