View Full Version : Help me decide on my next hand gun
I have the following S&W 637 .38 airweight,S&W 627 PC .357 5
,Glock 19,23,H&K usp40 Tactical ,Kimber 1911 Tactical ,Ruger LCP, and Kel TEC .380.
Im trying to decide between and HK45Tactical or a Sig 226 Mark 25. I think I like the HK45 better overall, but would probably end up shooting the sig more due to the cheaper price of ammo. What would you guys go with?
I meant to put this in general firearms. Anyway to move it?

I had a USP45 Tactical in the mid 90s when they came out. Much better range gun than the 226, which I also had. The Mk25 is just a 226, no barrel o-ring, etc. So, between the two your considering, I would definitely go with the USP45 Tactical!
If cheap price of ammo is a criteria for decision why not consider a. 22cal wheelgun or auto? I probably spend more time shooting my M&P. 22 than anything else. It's made me a much improved shooter. JMO YMMV?

Not that I am disagreeing but what makes it a better range gun?
Looking at your inventory now I would get the Sig even though the HK is on my short list.
You already have a Tac 40.

Hi,
For me, the Tactical is a more specialized gun compared to the MK25 which is just a P226 with phosphate coated controls and a barcode sticker. The Tactical has a Longer barrel, barrel o-ring, adjustable sights, cocked and locked SAO first shot which all add to accuracy for the range. Thats all.

No. A grown man doesn't need help deciding which gun to buy. And why would anyone trust a bunch of unknown guys on an Internet forum anyway?!?!

I would get a Hi-point .45. It is by far my most reliable, and accurate hand gun. Plus it has a lifetime warranty!
