You should try to rent or borrow from a friend just to make sure you like the .40 S&W round. It is diffrent from the 9mm u are used to. It's a bit more snappy. IMO it's like shooting a hot SD 9mm load. But Thers alot of people who just don't like the .40 round, for various reasons. I for one, love the .40 round. If you do end up trading, I assure you, you will not be dissapointed.
