After yet another teen shooting between gang members at our downtown mall, local officials responded in force by flooding the mall with 15 additional armed police officers and controlling entry and exit points. This response has been greeted by the public with overwhelming support.

Problem solved.

Now, about those schools...

judging by this administrations actions, shootings aren't the problem. citizens with guns are!

Actually, it's teenage punks with illegal guns.

The point of my posting was that the folks think this is a good idea at places they want to frequent but not where they drop off their kids five days a week? The irony is obvious but unseen by the pols and MSM.
