New to the old school. Advice?

Hello all, I am picking up my first ever 1911 tomorrow. A brand new sig 1911 tac-ops with a threaded barrel, to go with my osprey .45. I have historically been a glock shooter. I used a 35 for IDPA for a few years, and carry an HK daily at work.

So if any of you have some good advice for a new 1911 guy let me have it. Any good upgrades I should do etc.
