Looking for some data for 180gr cast. I have some BlueDot that I usually use with jacketed bullets. I've been trying to find Powerpistol in my area but I'm not having to muck luck.

I'm not into recipes off the web, However maybe afew on here have used BD and lead. Any insight would be helpful.

My favorite load for target plinking is 10.2 - 10.4 grains of Blue Dot with the cast 180 - 175 grain TC's Very accurate from my guns! Velocities 1100-1170 fps depending on barrel lenght!

Good luck! Be safe!

10.4 grains blue dot with a 180 grain hardcast tcfp is one of my favorite loads with my kkm barrel. very accurate. only downside is bluedot seems to burn dirty so cleaning is more often needed. good noise and flash too.

WSF works wonderfully well with lead!
it wont give you nuclear velocity though.

Unique! Unique! Unique!
The magic powder of the past still works today.
I find that 7.5 grains Unique behind a 180 gr. TC (Laser Cast, Missouri Bullet, etc.) works great in my 20 or 29. It is above book by some, OK by others, feels upper level mild to me. Need to chrono it, but I am guessing 1100 FPS which suits me just fine. Try Unique, it is great for 10mm for anything short of nuclear loads.

WSF does everything Unique does in 10mm, only better
