Prices? 9mm Glock mags, what have you bought or sold in the last 2-3 months? I'll save my info after some responses.

Prices right now? ridiculous. It used to be a very inexpensive rifle, just hard to find. I've always wanted one though.

The Sub2000 in 9mm (especially the Glock version) was hard to find and going for $200 over what they were worth before the scarce and ban scare. The reason was for Kel-Tecs lazy tiny production runs which includes the KSG, SU-16 and RFB as well among pistols like the PMR.

Now with the ban scare, they're next to impossible to find unless you feel like paying $400+ over what they're worth. IMO, pass on it for now unless you happen upon someone who is clueless or short on cash.

Just sold one for $850. A friend from work had a friend who asked him if he knew anybody who had one. Said he'd pay $900. I liked the thing but could not pass that up. I was nice and sold it for $850 with two 33 rd. mags and a 17 rd. mag.

When the panic buying started they were selling for up to $1,200 on Gunbroker. I search armslist and most people are asking $800-$1000 range. I have a 9mm Glock version.
I like it alot, and it fills a nitch between a handgun and rifle.
I would not pay more than $400 for one. I got mine used for $300. If someone offered me between $1,000 and $1,200 for mine it would be hard to say no.

You actually could have gotten a lot more for that.

As others have mentioned, you could have sold the sub2k on gunbroker for $800-$1200.

You could have also sold the 33rd mags for $75-$100 per each.

All total, you could have sold the package for $950 - $1400....depending on who was bidding that particular day

eta: just saw you also included a 17rd mag. That would have added another $40-$50 to the total

Iv wanted one for ages but never found one for a price i was willing to pay. I def wouldnt want to buy one now, they arent worth the 850 or so prices tags that they are going for. The foldability is great and they are alright to shoot, but i wouldnt consider them to be the greatest quality.

I just sold mine a week ago for $800. This included a bunch of accessories:

Front Rail
Spare magazine holder
Stock Extension
Sling mount
Two 17 round Krock (Korean) magazines
Original Tandy 102 laptop case (perfect fit for the carbine).

Now I am wishing I hadn't included the Tandy 102 Laptop case (I still have the laptop).

I bought 100 G18 mags for $18 each around 2005. I'm selling them for $80-$100 each now. Still have about 70 left.

I've often thought about what my .40 SW would sell for with the Red Lion rotating forend and front site and Tacticool extras. I have only seen plain factory ones for sale online starting around $800. I love this little carbine but could be persuaded if the money was right.231103231104231105231106

Would never sell my AR's but curiousity could get the best of me on my Sub 2000. I have $650 in it with initial cost and upgrades. I have my eye on a few pistolas that would sit nice in my safe. Just don't know what it would go for at a decent price.

It's always difficult getting your money back from "upgrades". You have quite a bit invested. I had $300 invested. It's what I paid new for it and kept it stock. Depending on what you bought just the carbine for, you could make anywhere from $200-$400 most likely. If the accessories you have on it can be used on other platforms, it may be worth more to sell it stock and keep the accessories or sell them seperately. Of course if you have it set up as the "ultimate" Sub2K, you may be able to fetch about $500 for it as a package.

I liked mine but feel it's a nice range/truck type of thing, not too much else. Prices could continue to rise on them but IMO, now is the time and I really think prices probably peaked 2 weeks ago. KT has'nt made more and these guys who just paid these prices are'nt selling yet so they are hard to get. You just never know...

You ever pay too much for a gun you really wanted but did'nt like it or need it like you thought? I have a few times and I keep them because I'll just never get close to my money back. Well, times like this allow me to "even the score" and finally let them go to another owner who will love them more.

I do love this rifle and store it in a briefcase which is the total "Coolness" factor, I know its a hard to find gun, and that's why I haven't sold it yet and most likely wont. Curiosity does linger in the back of my mind but I know the probability of getting another one in our current political climate is gonna be impossible. Plus my dads advise to never sell any of your guns unless you are starving is always there. lol.

I bought my Sub2000 which is the Glock mag using gun for $300 at a gun show. Came with the 10 round mag. It is a
"$300" gun. It is not a battle hardened rifle, is inexpensively made, but a clever design. Gatorboys stash is pretty amazing, looks like he scored big time and should turn a nice profit:cool: I gotta agree with Delmonte 67's dad, don't sell your guns unless your starving OR I would add, you make out like a bandit like Gatorboy is gonna do:faint:

Average price here in the classifieds runs about $850.00, with just a couple mags.

Traded mine for a used G30. It was fun but with ammo prices I only put 50 rounds through it in the six months I owned it.

The price I got them at was incredible, which is why I got as many as I did. It was an investment. I've traded them for ATV radiators, .22LR ammo, even some tires for a trailer. Most people I know shoot so it was like trading $5's for $10's. These day's with people I don't know, more like $5's for $20's. I hate screwing people almost as much as I hate to be screwed but it's what I bought them for. I knew the day would come and unfortunately, the day has come.

I've never owned a sub-2k but would like to get one someday. Current prices are far more than I would ever pay for one.

I hope when this current scare passes the prices drop back to "normal" later this year.

I remember going to the gun shows last year looking for one and I found quite a few at great prices in 9mm and passed on them because I was looking for one in 40S&W. Never found one. Oh well...
