I don't see anything odd about the story. I don't blame the cop at all.

Sounds good I'd shoot someone if they were pointing a gun at me too

Everyone got the memo right?

Cops, they don't like it when people do stuff like that.

Dumbest decision she made that day, most people I know have an aversion to having a gun pointed at them.

It is a little strange that he did go with her in the house.
When I severed papers I handed them to the person and got the hell off the property and back to patrol.
You don't hang out and wait for trouble.

Anyone stupid enough to point a gun at a cop(or anyone else) deserves to get shot.

The officer was serving an arrest warrant, charging the woman with driving under the influence. No further details on the warrant or what she was accused of were available.

You let them go on arrest warrants? Most likely the officer let her get something from the house before bringing her into the station for booking.

I love it when a poster over dramatized a topic to get attention.
Feel sorry for ya Bro!

My guess is that it was just the summons without physical arrest or some other paperwork.
Here in Maine you get that right before we let the suspect go.
In Maine people hardly ever physically get booked for OUI.

There really should be something to allow people charged with DUi to sign a promise to appear in court afer processing and then they could just drive aw..... ohh wait. Never mind.

Hey, I had to post something as I didn't just buy another Glock, or watch a new movie, or eat a delicious cookie, or see a smokin' hot chick, or need the value of a gun purchase, or post another dislike of anti gun Liberals.

I posted a link about another dumb woman.

So, there.... bro......:supergrin::supergrin::supergrin:

Yeah generally speaking pointing a gun at a cop, especially one who comes to arrest you, probably isn't a great idea.
