Since it was the first straight stock, 18" barrel marlin I've actually seen in person, I took it.:tongueout:

And yeah, 835 cases, just over TEN THOUSAND boxes of cookies.....not much room left in the garage.

If there is a cookies shortage I know where to go.

I will trade you some 22lr for some cookies.

The key to prepping is having the right kind of barter.

How many gallons of milk do you have to go with those cookies?

I already have the scope off, just need to order some fiber optic sights and get to the range.

If I can find some ammo.

I like the levergun. Also nice job on the cookies, we had right about 800 cases for our troop, I was the only Dad that showed up to load them in the trailer, jerks.

In remember those. I used to read through and drool and dream at all of those catalogs and at the gun counters of all those stores. Ahhh...the good ole days.

I've been looking for an 1894 in .44 mag that wasn't overpriced. Lever actions are great.

Definitely keep it. I love my BL22, but have been looking for a 39 to go with it.

Oh, and I can sympathize with you on the cookies. When my daughter was in Girl Scouts my wife was "Cookie Mom" a couple of times.

I thought I liked milk&cookies:wow: The Marlin is the best close-quarters combat rifle against deer insurgents I know of. I have two old 336s of my dad's that are priceless to me.

I never understood why they never make runs of the carbine version. Pretty little guns.
