I personally have some BreakFree CLP and a Gerber multitool. I haven't found myself needing anything else and not having it, but I bet there are some other good ideas out there.

gloves, small cleaning kit, lenses for shooting glasses (amber/orange/tinted/clear)

I keep a cleaning rod in my bag, just Incase of a stuck shell. Also some lube and small tools for adjusting my optics. My upula and easy loader for my ruger 22/45. My suppressors and extra pistons.

gloves of several types, extra earplugs, cleaning kit and rod, walmart bags for brass, muff belthook, tape, sm 1st aid kit, Sharpie

Tape, staple gun, upula, glock tool, small screw driver for the adjustable site when I take my SR22. Would love to find some 22 ammo so I could take it again.

Targets, staple gun, staples, small binos and/or spotting scope, uplula, chamber flags, scotch tape, shot timer.

I've got my Glock, 2 magazines, a holster, a small cleaning kit, ear plugs, ear muffs, shooting glasses in a case with an extra lens, a pair of gloves, a spare target, and my stock magazine loader. Not a ton, but it's not a huge range bag either, and I don't go very often due to budget constraints, so I don't need a ton.

Tiny bottle of ballistol, a few punches, multi tool, & extra targets.

3 colors of Sharpie
Bag for brass/hulls
small scope
cleaning kit and CLP

I use old prescription bottles to hold my bore snakes. Cut the end off one and I can roll up my rubber Glock mat and pass it through to keep it handy but not in the way.

Gloves, knife, glock tool, snap caps, cleaning stuff , cleaning rod. Back straps for my M&P, a few spare parts, pen, and two rags.

Mines got 2 pairs of the surefire sonic defenders, Oakley M Frames, one of those little metal all caliber pistol cleaning kits and change in it along with my range key. Anything else goes in as needed

Edit: oh yea and a staple gun

One piece pistol rod, loop style with jags, tips and patches
Gerber multi tool, one of the ones they discount at Walmart every Christmas
Arrow stapler
Duct tape, 2"
Blue painters tape 1"
Small adjustable wrench
Stubby flat head screwdriver
Aluminum rod about 1/4x3" to use for a punch
8 oz ball peen hammer
Disposable rain poncho
Ink pen/pencil combo
Rolled up carpet sample to lay on the bench
One of those clear ID holders with a clip on the back for my GSSF card. (Maybe everyone will stay well this summer and I will even get to use it.)
Glock mag loader, until it wore out.

A couple of screwdrivers
Ear Plugs
Ear Muffs ( I double up, less headaches that way. The range I use has sides and a roof, it gets loud)
Break Free CLP

There's probably more, but I can't think of anything now.

Small cleaning kit
Pop pins
Target pasters
Masking tape
Oiled rag for wiping off bullet lube from gun.
Ink pen
Merrit Optical device
Sometimes a spotting scope.

I should point out this stuff is not stored in a bag, but an MTM purpose build gun box

Good lists.

I'll add toilet paper.

02-22-2013, 17:54
I pack light. Eyes, ears, targets, door/id badge, and ammo. My local range is only 10 minutes from my house though if anything goes wrong (mechanically anyways). I do like the idea of Quick Clots though as mentioned above.

02-22-2013, 18:41
Ammo, 12 Magazines, electronic ear muffs, ear plugs, batteries, Glock tool, hand towel, IDPA holster, spare magazine holders, backup holster, gun lock, sight adjustment tool, paint pen, sharpie, primary and spare eye protection.

Lemme think...

Pair of Mechanic gloves
Knit hat in winter, ball cap for summer
Little set of Allen keys
Old Swiss army knife
Glock tool
Probably an AR front sight tool in there somewhere
Small flat head and philips screwdrivers
A pistol size cleaning rod and jag
Some bore snakes
A wad of blue shop towels
Bottle of CLP
Zip lock with some patches
El cheapo led flashlight
Some pens and a marker
Staple gun
Extra staples
Roll of masking tape
An old face towel
A small squirt bottle of hand cleaner
A tiny little pair of fold up binocs
2 x 4 inch Israeli bandages in compass pouches on the outside
Altoids in case I meet any hot chicks
Empty bag for picking up brass
My CCW badge and sash

Pack rat, I know. Thankfully the only things I have not had occasion to use yet are the bandages and tourniquet.

02-22-2013, 19:34
note pad
hand wipes
Dental picks
small cleaning kit (CPL etc)
large non-lint towel
stripper clips and spoon (when I am out with the AR)
bottled water

And a few things if the Mrs. gets...frisky. You would be amazed, what the smell of cordite does to some women...
