Looks like HB 3200 has been introduced.

" ...not only bans most modern guns and magazines, it allows warrantless searches of your home, requires background checks and registration for a firearm you already own and as-of-yet undefined storage requirements. We say “a firearm” because even if you comply with the restrictions in this bill you may still only own one."

The Obama administration (per John Lott on Mark Levin today) lobbied members of the CO assembly telling them they would work for them and Chairman O would personally campaign for them if they voted for the gun laws or they would support opponents to run against them if they voted against the guns laws. This was enough to turn the tables.

They will do the same in Oregon. Lott says they are targeting select states to use as examples to the rest of the country.

Well flipper for your state's gun owners I hope it's not a case of "we had great gun laws."

The democrats are in reality a criminal organization posing as a political party. What they are doing is taking a page out of Hitler's playbook from the 1930's.

What cracks me up is the laws in Oregon work really well. I don't get the retards (admittedly in my own party) who are constantly trying to shove bans and restrictions down the throat of the electorate.

Definitely a case of "if it isn't broken..."

Obama is hoping for a civil war, he is determined to start one in this country. He KNOWS it will turn into a race war....he NEEDS it to turn into a race war. Racial tentions are at an all-time high in America and Obama knows this. Nothing will ever change until minorities STOP blaming the White man for their problems and START taking responsibility for their actions.

If you start seeing states secede from the Union.....LOAD YOUR MAGAZINES!!!!!

This is NO JOKE!!!!!:wavey:

They picked CO and OR because they have a big carrot for them. Pass new gun laws and there will be no enforcement of federal marijuana laws.

States willing to stand tall better be figuring out how to get along without Federal monies. I hate toll roads but if it empowers The Republic of Texas to tell DC to pound sand then so be it.

I wonder what those Oregon democrats who own guns and voted for obama think about the "change we can believe in" slogan now???

They may be about to find out the hard way. As they say in the Polish Navy: "Toughski Sheetski".

Granted I don't know much about the Nazi Party or White Supremacist groups in general, but I don't think that they'd want queers and colored folks in their organizations.

NO!!!!! WRONG!!!

The retraction from the Senator was regarding the bill introduced by the Or Senate and the article was written on Thursday 2/21. HOUSE Bill 3200 was introduced on Friday...

The fact that this is almost identical to the bill introduced in WA a couple of weeks ago that got national attention and had Dem leaders in that state running for cover and still got introduced with multiple co-sponsors is very disturbing. Even if it does not pass the fact that multiple folks would float this balloon is cause for alarm.

Hard copy letters sent to all local politicians demanding not only they not vote for the measure but publicly decry it as the BS it is are in today's mail.

I'm not holding my breath for any response from my local Rep in Corvallis.

IMO, it was a trial balloon. See how many people flipped the FU*K out and I'm betting they got inundated with correspondence over this POS.

every politician in America needs to go jump off a very tall building!

we should then make it a capital crime punishable by death, for any of the new politicians that take office, to screw with the Bill of Rights!

make sure they know that 1 through 10 are OFF LIMITS!!!

Ha ha, I think the moron(s) who drafted and intitially supported this POS bill were not expecting the back smack they have been receiving from Oregon gun owners during the past few days. It is true that the larger metro areas of Oregon are by majority liberal, but a lot of these liberals are actually liberal gun owners. I just hope they remember the names of the elected officials who proposed this bill come reelection time.
