What will your death be like?

Have you come to terms of knowing you will someday be room temperature?

How Will You Die? When, where, why?

I'm going out standing in a pile of spent brass, holding my empty MAC-10, and surrounded by hundreds of dead zombies.

At age 90, shot in the back while going out the bedroom window by a jealous husband :whistling:

coming to terms.

When death is a future concept and you see many years ahead of you, it's just a concept and something that happens to someone else.

When you see most of your years behind you, it's something that is inevitable and no one escapes from it. Once you know it's coming, it no longer frightens or worries you. The only thought is how and when, not fear of "if".

You realize that there are actually many other things that are more scary in life than death. How you live is one. Not if you live.

Live well die once. Nothing new and nothing to fear. It is simply an end to another of life's situations.

In my sleep, just like my grandfather; not screaming like his passengers.

I will say this: In our twilight years, and especially at our hour of death, that's when it all comes home to roost. I want to stay here as long as God will allow, but I am also laying the groundwork, as best I can, to die a holy death when the time comes.

There is only one thing that we take with us from this life besides our soul, and that's what is in our hearts, be it good or bad.

My worst fear is dying alone, in a nursing facility, discarded and forgotten.

Quick I hope. It would be cool to close your eyes and open them in paradise.

I will die when God almighty says " It's time to come home son". Until that time I will refuse to lay down and die for any mortal man.

Until the time to go "home" I have and will fight against all odds to stay upright and alive.:tongueout:

Have a great day:supergrin:

I believe this would be a frightening thing to any living being. No one should have to die alone.

Since I carry C3, I'll probably die in a gunfight while fumbling around to rack the slide.:whistling:

Seriously, cancer will probably get me. I'm old, but the ticker is working fine and blood pressure is normal. That kinda leaves cancer to finish me off. I'm really not looking forward to that end game.

Seriously, odds are this is how I as well as many others will go and I don't see much to change that right now.

When is up to God. How is a matter of timing. But I refuse to die a useless death! That's why I'm an organ donor. I want them to take every piece of me they can possibly use to help someone else.

I'm not sure *how* it's going to be, but I'm hoping it won't be until after I've had a chance to piss on Klinton's and O'Bozo's graves.

I have my demise planned. When I can no longer work or enjoy living independently I will quit taking Tasigna which is keeping me in remission from CML leukemia. I will relapse in 6 months to 2 years and be dead within 3 years of relapse. I have no children. I will end up in a hospice program when I can no longer care for myself...then it is about comfort measures.:wavey:
