I just ordered some 230gr JHP and one box of 158gr JSP to try out. In what may end up being a mistake, I passed on 9mm 124gr FMJ. I see PD has raised prices again.

I'm seeing the same thing. I'm only interested in 115gr FMJ for 9mm.

I snagged 1000 148 HBWC a couple weeks ago, they don't stay in stock very long.

Have you used those from Zero before? I've been hesitant to try them, because the site says they're sized to .357, and I thought most lead for .38/357 was .358...and that undersized lead bullets are a common cause of leading.

My 230gr JHP and 158gr JSP just arrived.

I've shot 4-5K of them, most with 3 GR of 231. Nice powder puff load that's easy to teach new shooters with. Never had any issues with leading. If you want some to try just PM your address.

I won't even order from Precision Delta anymore. It's probably not their fault as metal prices have gone up, but you save a lot of money by buying plated bullets. A few years ago, PD FMJs were similar in price to Rainier and Berrys. Not anymore.

The only FMJ I buy are for 357SIG and 10mm. I get those from Zero or Montana Gold as they don't have ridiculously long wait times.

For those who have ordered from PD recently, do they still have a several month long wait time?

Seems like there are at least half a dozen makers offering various forms of coated bullets for just a little more $ than lubed lead. I'm testing a few and may cut back considerably on jacketed bullet use.

I order all my lead from these folks;

I order mostly for .38 special, 357 Magnum & .45 ACP/Colt.

Great bullets, good price and service is good as well, might want to give them a try.

Last time I purchased from PD, their 115gr FMJ were CHEAPER than the plated rounds.

Only plated 40 cal was cheaper.

Still pretty good pricing for quality FMJs.
