Has anyone chrono'd a Glock 17 and 19 using the same ammo? What about a 22 and 23? How much difference in velocity exists between the two?

The longer barrels produce about 15 to 20 fps more than their shorter counterpart. It's negligible.

Thanks for the info. I bet there is more of a difference between the 17/26, and 21/30.

All guns are diff, even those made the same day. Only way to know, chrono your own gun. Want to guess, 20-25fps per inch of bbl in handguns, 40-50fps per inch in rifle.

How much or little is gained or lost has more to do with just barrel length, such as the amount and type of powder used and the bullet weight. In general faster powders react less to barrel changes as do heavier bullets. Slower burning powders react more to barrel changes as do lighter weight bullets. However with factory ammo it's not uncommon to see anywhere from 20-50 fps gain in the extra .5" of barrel between models, not enough to make notable difference in performance really.

I should have brought out the 26 as well but I didn't think about it at the time.

Hickok45 actually did a YouTube Chrono test out of different lgth barrels. Not as big of difference as you might think.
