Lookin' forward to working with you again, Don!
I'll be there trying to avoid a procedural from Taipei.

You mean another procedural, don't you? ;)
It's quite a drive from GA but I'll be at the VA match again.

Actually the dates are June 14-15. I'll be there as an SO again this year. I'm only in it for the brass.
Bring lots of ammo a hat and sunscreen. I've got a bucket full of procedurals to give out. Step right up and dig in. ;b

Taipei Personality,
I'll be on the road coming your way by 3:00 this afternoon. It's going to be a boring 4+ hour ride, but at least I get to pick the music and when to make the pit stops!

I just got back from up there. I shot 13 of the stages, but the gentleman from Sumter was still setting up. I'll shoot the last stage first thing Saturday morning before everyone gets started. Now, to figure out how to go down in class . . . ;1

So you have one left to shoot huh? Did you finish before the rain hit? Are the targets bagged? I'm shooting in the morning.

I stopped when it started to rain. Stage 2 was almost finished, but I didn't want to hang around. The targets were not bagged.

I started shooting at about 9:30 this morning. Finished at around 2:00, 14 in our group. Stage 6, I think, is totally awesome! Movers! Turners! Cool. I actually shot it fairly well. A surprise in itself.
I'll be SOing on the Bears in the woods stage across the road.
Look ya'll. This is an excellent match. If you can do it, come. You wil not be disapointed.
BTW I got a light pipe front sight for my Glock in my shooters bag. If you are shooting in the sun light, it's "impressive". HiVis light pipe. The "gun" is still in one of the unclaimed bags.

Well the Carolina Cup 2003 edition is now on the books. Go to http://users.gloryroad.net/~idpa/cc2003/cc2003index.htm for the whole story.
Man, if I could only shoot 3 of the stages over again...the ones that I shot in Expert time with Novice accuracy, I'd have done quite well. :)
I'm totally cooked from 3 days of fun in the sun!
"Expert time with novice accuracy." I'll have to remember that. I thought all the stages were excellent. This was the first big match I've been to where I didnt clobber a friendly or committ a procedural. Thanks to all the SOs who were very helpful.

Well, I wasn't very accurate, but at least I was slow. Cooked here, as well. :)
