View Full Version : Holsters Plus Competition Trigger
Has anyone used or fired a Glock with the "Holsters Plus" Glock Competition trigger? Looking on their website www.holstersplus.com was the first time I had heard of it. Just curious.

For $95, I DON'T THINK SO. I did my own trigger at a cost of $18 and wound up with a 2.8lb pull.

Duck, what else did you do besides put in a 3.5 pound connector and polish the internals?

I polished thru the plating to get really smooth surfaces. Install a lighter striker spring and a heavier trigger spring. Polish the cruciform sear (do not change the angle or round the sharp upper edge), under the cruciform where it contacts the connector, the connector, the firing pin safety (clip off 2 coils of the firing pin safety spring) and polish the trigger bar where it contacts the firing pin safety, polish the part of the cruciform that is the drop safety. Grind the striker arm on the left side at a 45 degree angle and polish the striker where it contacts the cruciform sear. Polish the striker at the back flats and in the front where it will make contact with the channel liner.

What does changing to a heavier trigger spring do?

Helps you pull the trigger giving you a lighter feel.

It also can contribute to reset failure. Be careful when playing with these.

You are correct, the spring is sold as a "competition spring" however, I have had no problem with mine after installing it 1 yr and 8,000 rounds ago. I shoot in competition and carry with it installed.
Some clip coils off the trigger spring with success.
Keep in mind YMMV.
