What are your favorite artificial lures, and what fish do you fish for?
My favorite artificials are in-line spinners, mainly rooster tails, as they're not as expensive as Blue Fox's stuff, and they're just as effective. Next up would be small curl-tailed jigs fished with or without a spinner-bait arm.
I've got a bunch of plastic worms, but haven't caught a fish on a plastic worm in a couple years. Kinda lost faith in them. I've also got a handful of small crankbaits, half of which have caught fish (others just don't get fished oft enough)
I use the smallest floating rapalas, a sinking rapala, and a small Rebel crawfish crankbait, a larger Luhr Jensen crawfish bait (new, not fished much. None caught yet) a joined rapala (which has caught some nice smallies) and the smallest Flatfish I could find. None of those has caught near as many fish as my Rooster Tails. Tossing them with long ultra-light rods and 4lb line works wonders for smallmouth bass, trout, largemouth bass, and even crappie & yellow perch.
