pact timer adjustment

Hi,
I have one of the little clam shell timers. The thing is so sensitive that it's picking up echos outdoors in the woods. I have found the adjustment scres under the battery. I presume that CCW rotation makes it less sensitive. Is that right? How much do I need to turn it? 1/4 1/2 2? I don't know what the range is.

To reduce sensitivity turn it CCW. You'll just have to mess with it some. Mine was picking up echoes indoors. Half turn or so cured it and it still picks up fine for outdoor use.
