G32 and G23 magazines the same?
I know these magazines are the same (G23 vs. G32) but I just want to make sure. Tonight I loaded a .40 mag with .357 sig rounds. I racked the slide and the .357 sig round nose-dived and refused to enter the chamber until I pulled the slide back again. This happened off and on with the magazine.

Do I assume correctly that the magazine spring is the culprit.
Odd how the round nose dives.

inquiring minds need to know.
thanks,

The mags are a little diffrent but not by much.
Most of the time a new mag spring will fix the problem.

BTW only use FML (drop free) style prebans...The NFML will cause problems.

I've never had a malfunction of any kind using my non drop free G 23 mags in my 32??? What kinds of problem does it cause??

Captain,
IF you havent had any problems with your NFML G23 preban then thats great (given that you trust it and its had a good number of rounds through it)....But for me everytime I have tryed a NFML in a .357sig be it a G33,G32,or G31 under rapid fire I got nose dive or a stovepipe style jam.
I never have that problem with a FML.

Screamin,

I replaced the mag springs with Wolff's + power, maybe that helped. I have over 2,000 rds thru it (asst ball and hollowpoints) with nary a malf! I am on the frame replacemnt list, so I hope that doesn't change my luck!

mine did the exact same thing with a new g32 barrel and my 40 mags. i was so pissed i just bought a hundred barrel and the damn thing wouldnt work with my 3rd gen glock, decided to try a g32 mag and it worked perfectly. i had planned on buying g32 mags anyway.
