Ok, I am going to turn 21 in less than 4 months, and I have a ruger GP100 with a 3" barrel that I want to get used to carring. I don't know if I want an IWB or OWB. If anyone has some suggestions as to what I should try, or if anyone would like to loan/sell me their holster, please send me a line. Oh, another think that I think will be a problem, it's hammer is bobbed, so a strap over the hammer will probly not work.

I'm looking for a concealment holster for a Glock 27...must be a LEFTY!

I have 2 lefty holsters for an SP101:

- Both are DeSantis, tan leather, with thumb breaks
- One is an IWB
- One is a belt scabbard
- Both are used, but in good shape (bought from a retired LEO who used them for off duty...I haven't used them since purchased).
- Will definitely work with the 2.5" bbl, and I think will work with the 3" (I think that's the LEO carried).

Rember this...IWB is much more difficult to flash than a OWB. The advise of trying on lots of holsters is truly sound.
I have a Kydex OWB that's quick, secure, comfortable and rugged. I have another Kydex IWB by the same company that could be used as a torture device. My personal solution is leather for IWB and Kydex for OWB. Holsters are personal decisions,what works for one is unworkable for another. Best of luck...maybe someone in this thread will allow you to borrow before you buy!

Bianchi #50 Chapman Hi-Ride for 1911 to loan

It's an old-style leather competition holster that holds the pistol with the muzzle raked forward. A screw on the back adjusts tension. I think it was a factory 2nd, and the Bianch name has been obliterated on the back of the holster. Some scratches, etc., but it's still really tight. It's been sitting in a box for a number of years.

I just got a Kimber 1911 in 10mm and would like to carry it sometimes. I would like to borrow a "galco skyops" or something similar that I can carry a full size 1911 in or am I going to have to get a bigger fanny pack. This is what I am using right now and I like it a lot. The only thing I do not like is, like all my other beltslide type of holsters the gun can get pretty tight after many hours of use. I see there are some with adjustable tension screws, in fact I think Hume has them, on the Gunners Ally link I posted. Anyone here tried one? Or any other suggestions for a G 36. I am not built like all the holster models I see . I am 5'9'' 215 pounds, with a bigger belly than but.
I have not tried a ITWB for that reason. I have to say the G36 is one if not the easiest guns of reasonable caliber, to carry I have owned yet. The JIT holster works very well, but I am always looking for the perfect holster.

This is what I have been using.The price is good and it works pretty
well. The only thing that I do not like is the gun can get tight in the holster after many hours. But a slide I have for a 1911 does the same thing.

After reading all of the positive comments about the C-TAC's and Sidearmor IWB's I would like to try one on, but I realize that sending a complete stranger a $50 plus holster to try on is a little bit of a gamble. Sooo if anybody is in or near Mobile, Alabama that has a C-TAC or Sidearmor IWB that wouldn't mind meeting at a place of convenience ( sounds a little creepy huh? ) and let me try it on, just so I could see what the fuss is all about, I sure would appreciate it. This post is a warning in dealing with "tim1911". I do have all his info. He had borrowed a holster(galco LH pancake) of mine which was posted on the Holster Library. He borrowed it in the fact if he liked it he was to buy it for 35.00 or send it back to me with a 5.00 m/o to cover the shipping since I paid to ship it to him,he also had a week in the agreement to decide from time he got it. He did not tell me he got it as I asked him to do. I had to email him a few times. He emailed me on Dec. 15 saying he had it for 4 days and needed a week,which he had it since Dec. 2 according to my usps tracking I had on package when I shipped it out,so he lied about how long he had it. He has responded to very few of my emails. After I told him I was going to report this on GT he then said he would send a m/o which was on Dec. 24th and that was all he had to say,no excuses or apologies or anything. I did not recieve m/o so I emailed him about it few times. He replied stating he sent m/o on Dec.29th and that was all he had to say about it. I did not recieve it and emailed him about it and he then wanted to verify my address on Jan 1st,then did not here from him for awhile. On Jan 11th he stated m/o had been canceled if he could pay with paypal, which I told him on at least 2 times before that I do not take paypal. I do not believe him that he sent m/o nor the fact m/o was cancelled since he is the only one who could have done that,so I think he did not even send m/o at all. Now I have not heard from him since and this is totally ridiculous. I have never had anyone do this to me and I have done a good 50+ trades and between buying and selling a good 150+ on a number of boards most her or ar15.com. So please do not let him borrow anything of yours cause it looks like you won't see it again.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, been reading for a while, but just got around to signing on. I just bought my first Glock, a 19, couldn't be happier. Actually I could be happier if I could get a new one in my state (Massachusetts) but our omnipotent attourney general feels that Glock handguns are not safe, unfit for public use, and according to his offices standards, considered defective at sale. But its ok and safe for a cop to use them. hmm Go figure eh?

Anyways, I'm a lefty, and I'm looking to try a few holsters out, pancake, paddle, iwb. I just want to see what will work best for me in an everyday carry situation. I've been thinking of ordering a MiltSparks VM2 or a Tucker "The Answer", as these both seem to get great reviews. If anyone could help with a loan of a holster, or has either of the above two for sale, let me know, please. I'll pay shipping both ways on any loaned holsters. Are you RH or LH? I currently am carrying in an Uncle Mike's IWB. Not the most comfy thing on the planet, but its not particularly uncomfortable either. Its a LH, soft, made of neoprene I think, and covers the trigger. I'm carrying a 19 as well. I'll be getting Tucker's "The Answer" soon, and will be abandoning my current rig, you're more than welcome to give it a try once I get the new one if you'd like.

Great idea here, hope it keeps on working for everyone.

For myself, I'm looking for any reasonable owb for a g26 and iwb/owb for a g30. Looking to buy or can trade for an Uncle Mike's g26 ankle holster plus cash if appropriate.

Don't care for the UM myself, seems to flop around and you have to wear socks with it because of sharp edges. Not to my taste but you're welcome to it if you have a trade or deal we can work out.

I have a nice barely used for a glock 19, leather Galco holster, owb, dark brown with the thumb snap.

I need something leather to carry my g23 with some retention I have a uncle mikes ankle and uncle mikes right handed to trade also have a light brown don hume but has no retention level. willing to trade or try one and buy it but in the past I have bought so many and ended up loosing money on junk.

see thats the thing, I just started the cigar smoking hobby and am willing to try anything:) I say if you take a trip to the local cigar shop get the guys/or your opinion on some nice cigars, thats good enough for me;)

On the bottom corner there is a little white scuff, I beleive it is paint off a wall, I'll work on getting it off before sending it.

I figured I'd do something a little different rather than just taking cash. That way, you can pick up a nice cigar for yourself and enjoy it with your new holster^c

Hey. anyone have a --gasp--- large RH pager-pal that they aren't using and wouldn't mind letting me try/selling? I'm trying to fit an XD sub9 into it. I know that there is the basic brand "pager pal", but there was another version from "Strong Holster", which they no longer make (I wonder if that is due to patent infringement?). I prefer the latter, but the former may work well, too. I have a CTAC for the XD sub that could be mixed into a trade/sale. IT is for sale elsewhere (for 50$), so ti may be gone soon and out of the equation.

I have a G26 and then got a G27.. I think I am going to carry the G27 ( my permit SHOULD be on its way in the mail to me soon ) So I am looking for a nice IWB holster for my G27. I saw some Galco ones that looked nice but pricey.. so just curious if anyone had one laying round I could give a test run before I plunked down that kind of cash.. OR can someone make any other suggestions as to a nice IWB. the models I looked at were:
1. SUMMER COMFORT INSIDE PANT HOLSTER
2. STEALTH INSIDE THE PANT HOLSTER
3. PUSH UP INSIDE THE PANT HOLSTER
4. MOB MIDDLE OF BACK HOLSTER

I finally got my G21c (Best gun I've ever shot!!) and am trying to find a used duty holster for it. I say used because I'm saving us for the M111 tac light (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/111/prrfnbr/957) with the Safariland 6280 and just need something to tide me over 'till I save up $500. Triing to find a IWB for a G19 and for a G26. You may think this is strange but the wife is a ghost hunter and cemetaries gather the most loveliest of people in the dead of night(no pun intended). Last time out got to witness several drug drops and one guy ran at us. Needless to say I need something I can wear into starbucks without all the yuppies going gaa gaa. Yet functional enough that I don't have to have a PHD to get the damn thing to work.....Just a bit frustraited...Sorry. Please any help/advise is greatly appreciated

I'm a pretty big guy (working on it. I made the decision to get fit the same time I decided to arm myself... you know, just in case), looking for a suitable way to conceal my G21.

Full-size autos don't tend to conceal well, of course, but if anybody has advice or a holster I could test out for a few days, I'd be sure to return the favor however I can.
