for IWB you should check out Comp Tac's line. alot of people here use a CTAC or MTAC holster from them. i use a CTAC for a G19. also like the Milt Sparks VMII if you prefer Leather. a bit more pricey though.

Make sure you get a good belt specifically designed to support th weight of the gun and ammo though. this is the most overlooked part.

sadly no. i sold it with the gun. it was up north and i usually had a light jacket on. its not nearly as hard to conceal a fullsize gun as most would think. my 34 might have slightly printed at times but noone ever seemed to notice. i will admit that i have steped down to a g19 and it never shows at all. i would not hesitate to carry a fullsize again. as long as its IWB you can get away with anything. i also am not a big guy at 6' 180lbs.

i have a Bianchi #5 slide for the Beretta 92/96. i have used it for 6 months. it is a little beat up but that is to be expected. would like to trade it for a G19 15 round magazine.

I seem to be worried constantly about printing with my JIT holster for my Glock 23. Do yall think I should suck it up or try a different approch...say a IWB?

The printing is not bad, however I feel uncomfortable with the JIT. Is there something out there that can help me. Any help would be nice.

I am 5'11" and 240. not much mucle. I need to start :nsb:

I just started a security job, and need to find a leather basketweave duty holster, level 2 or 3 retention. Right hand. The holster is for a Glock22. I see a lot of really expensive ones, but I am not able to spend much on it. I work retail as my day job, and security at night. But I still only sporadically work, so I have a hard time with money. Anybody know where I can find one at a decent price? I started the new job last nite, and don't wanna do that too long with out carrying a gun...ya know, rapper after parties and such...

I don't have an extra for you to try, but the uncle mikes IWB size 5 holster fits my G22 perfectly. very comfortable, and only like $10

What I finally decided and works for me is several ways to carry depending on the gun, the clothing I need to wear, the weather where I'm going and lastly, my mood. I tell everyone to think it over allot and buy carefully and plan to stash, give or throw some away. My main carry methods for the G-23 is SmartCarry, IWB and OWB. For my S&W J-frame Body Guard I lke the SmartCarry and a Galco pocket holster. I wish I was one of those folks who carry the same way all the time. But here in South Florida you must take the heat and sometimes minimal clothing into consideration.
I say be flexible but ALWAYS practice, practice, practice with every gun and carry method you'll use.

Any suggestions(pancake holster maybe?)I use a paddle holster sometimes, but it requires a longer shirt, or it gets shown inadvertantly.

I have seen a few people on here get that bad in of the deal. I was just saying that you should make a separate thread for anyone who has made a transaction and stuck to there word. The whole $10 thing was a second thought.This is working, no reason to change.

I just saw this Holster category, and think someone came up with a great idea! I'm a leftie who joined the Glock family about a month ago by purchasing a G27, which I'm enjoying very much. I just completed my CCW class and will be getting fingerprinted and sending in the forms.

I'd be willing to pay the postage, both ways to be able to try anything anyone has that would work for a leftie like me. I want avoid having a pile of expensive holsters before I decide what's best for me.

I am looking for something for my S+W Sigma SW9VE, and my Springfield XD tactical 5" barrel.

I need a duty holster, and would like to try a concealed holster for them.

Anyone have anything laying around, cheap/unwanted, collecting dust?

Today I bought a beautiful leather Bianchi Model 100, Size 1 IWB for the J frame 2-2 1/4", Ruger SP101, S&W 36, 640 Hammerless, or Taurus 85.

It's got the strongest blue steel belt clip of any IWB I've run across, and it's the first Bianchi that doesn't have their logo stamped on it somewhere. Bone molded, rough-out leather on the inside, very nicely finished smooth leather on the outside.

Got it for my recently acquired NIB Model 36 Chief's Special from the early 80's I got from a gun dealer friend who got it from an estate sale.

For the Glock 17 I have, and recommend, the made-in-South Africa Ross OWB Model 17 (black). Suede lined and only slightly over $40. One guy told me they might be made from cape buffalo - but that remains just that: what one guy told me.

I just got an all leather IWB for my G26 (same size as the G27). It's a Bianchi Model 100, Size 10A. It's quite similar to the Model 100, Size 1 that I got for my Chief's Special, only the leather rises higher on the side against the skin.

I'd send it to you except that I'm using it nearly every day as I alternate carry days between the G26 and the Model 36. They're about $40.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I saw one at my local store over the weekend. It was Bianchi, just don't remember the model number. I remember the price though, and it wasn't $40 :( Does yours have a retention strap? This one did, which might account for the $$ diff.

No retention strap, so you're probably right about the strap adding to the cost.

I just got out the sales receipt. It was actually $48.95. My "good customer" discount brought it down to $42.00.

Label on box says it fits 9mm/40 Automatic - Glock 26, 27, and the Taurus PT145.

Hi,

I just bought my G26 and I love it.

and of course I'm having trouble with a holster.

I bought a Fobus Kydex OWB which doesnt conceal well even with a shirt over it.

Also, when I try to draw I end up pulling the whole holster out.

So, does anybody have any suggestions with that problem or have any IWB holster you recommend or are looking to get rid of?

Hello all! Bought my first Glock (23) last Friday and I want to use it as my conceal weapon. I have searched on here for holsters but have not found one that I prefer yet, or any solid answers. So I would like to borrow a IWB holster (will be returned if owner wants it back, or if I like it I will pay you for it) and any other holster you people think would fit me. I think I want to carry this one either in the front to the right side before the hip bone or.....suggestions???? I am 5'8" and 145 lbs. Average build guy with a small gut. I have carried a Bersa .380 Thunder for the last five years in my back pocket and I finally got my Glock, and it is a bit bigger so it does not stay put in my back pocket as well.
