G36 spent brass...

I recently purchased a G36. The brass ejects in my face sometimes. Is this common? Or am I doing something to cause this problem?

It's happened to me with both my G36 and my G19. Not every round or every range session. Just now and then. Most of the time, the brass goes over my head. I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens on every round, every mag, every range session.

I occassionaly get one in the face also. The last time I was at the
range, one bounced of my shooting glasses and down the front of my
shirt. I no longer keep my shirt tucked in at the range;P

I had the same problem at first, it has gone away. I suspect the tension on the extractor has changed. I also know that you can change something as simple as the grip tightness and alter the direction of spent cases. HTH
