View Full Version : New .45GAP ammo
Winchester should have their 230-gr GAP ammo available by the first of the year. That should silence a few more GAP critics.

Great news. Thank for the heads up.
Wow!!
Very kool. I can only hope they can work it up to ACP ballistics and keep the pressure down. That would be fun to shoot.

DannyR, Good deal.:)
What we really need Winchester to do once they create and market the 230-gr FMJ GAP ammo, is to come out and sell white box 100 round value packs of it (like they do with 9mm, 40S&W, and .45ACP). Have the Walmart chain start carry them in vast numbers nation wide. That will get the G37s selling like hotcakes. Well, hopefully in a year or so, that might just become a reality, you never know. ;a

According to a most reliable scource, it will also be available in White Box Value Paks.:)

That will be great. Let's all hope Walmart sells them too.
Of course what we also need to see is LEO organizations nation-wide (at the Federal, State, County, and Local level) buying large quantities of G37s from Glock, Inc. for their forces. This will have the other firearm manufactures falling all over themselves to get their version of a semi-auto chambered in the new .45 GAP cartridge out on the market. Hopefully, lowering the price per round by the ammo manufactures due to high demand (larger production/quantities of the round).

Are any of the major manufacturers (Starline, Speer, etc.) offering brass cases yet?
