My dealer actually had 45 GAP ammo before the guns. More ammo producers are coming on board. Both of these are GOOD signs. Now...I can remember people predicting doom for both the 40 S&W and the 357 Sig. You heard "why a short 40 when we have the 10 mm?"; or, "what does the Sig have when there is the 38 super, 9mm +P+...yada yada...."? The real key to GAP success will be for the gun manufacturers to bring product chambered for this caliber to the market. Look at the potential of the GAP and dream with me a second. How would you like a Kahr sized 45? Either their K series or, especially a PM45 would sell like mad. Taurus already has their compact PT polymer guns in both 40 and 45ACP. How tough would it be to prod these companies to bring guns out in 45 GAP? Let's start writing and emailing other companies to make them aware of our interest.

If Glock sales enough in .45 GAP to put a dent in the market then other companies have to make them too or lose out.

I suspect Sig would be next in line, followed by Beretta, Taurua and Kahr. I would be disappointed if no othere showed up at the Shot Show in February.
