How about a conversion barrel for 45GAP necked down to 10mm for the G37?This might give near-10mm performance from a standard frame. Now would it be called 40GAP or 10mmGAP?

I wouldn't think that such a round would do any worse than .400 Cor-Bon and .40 Super.

How about a G37C.That might do as well as the other C's.At least as well as the 9mm C's.

Might work as a marketing item, but I'm guessing that the rounds might not be moving fast enough to really help much.

Rounds of equal weight are moving as fast in a G37 as they are in a G21.

Interesing idea: A high speed .40 for a smaller frame.

Could be interesting.

I really liked 41 Action Express.I think it is a great calibre. Now there are more premium bullets in 10mm but maybe a 41 GAP.

There is a problem that I think you'd encounter with necking down the .45GAP, and that's available neck length after necking down. The .400 Cor-Bon, made from .45ACP, isn't as easy to load and doesn't have the case capacity of the .40 Super, which utilizes a case the same length as a 10mm case.

With the already-abreviated brass length of the GAP, I think you'd run into case capacity, neck tension and setback problems.

I have formed 357Sig from both 40S&W and 10mm cases.Maybe 45ACP brass would be easier in 10mm GAP but might be able to get it to work.I have loaded 400 Cor-bon but not 40 Super.
