Once again, AA7 comes out a winner in my book;

All bullets 200 gr Berry's plated FMJ, WSP primers, Speer cases.

5.6 Universal Avg 674.93 Extreme Spread 133.09 SD 49.25 Kinda wimpy, wouldn't cycle the slide a couple times. I'm through with testing this powder. Anyone want it? ;f

11.0 AA7 Avg 907.78 ES 35.86 SD 16.43 This is (for me) the 'right' powder for the GAP. Again, only 4 of 5 shots read by the Chrony.

11.3 AA7 Avg 937.50 ES 95.61 SD 53.77 Very accurate, nice "thump" when you touch it off. Chrono only read 3 of 5 shots. Still, I like this powder.

8.1 AA5 Avg 848.16 ES 42.10 SD 18.78 Hmmmm, another very accurate load. 4 of 5 shots read by the chrony.

5.9 Unique Avg 536.71 ES 79.35 SD 31.41 Had to hand cycle every round, not enough oomph to rack the slide! May bump it up a bit, just to give it an honest try. All 5 shots read.

That's it for this week.

Chrony too close to muzzle? Blast interfering with screens 'reading' shot? I was testing some 40 S&W awhile back and had to go to about 10' before it read every shot.

No, just dodging sunbeams coming thru the baffles ;f I work at an outdoor range, and there are cement baffles above (no blue sky), and as the sun moves, I lose the direct light needed for reading shots. It'll work anywhere from 6' - 10' out, as long as Mr. Sun cooperates!

ic.

I got the overhead lights fixture with my chrony. It's little more hassle to set up but once set I'm GTG.

Have thought about that, but I'd have to have a loooong extention cord to hook it up. I guess I could get a "volunteer" to hold up a couple of Streamlight Scorpions over each sensor while I shoot.... ;f
