View Full Version : Advantage Arms 22 Conversion Kit
Is the frame of the G37 the same as a G17/22/31 so an AA 22 Conversion kit would fit on it? Or, has it been modified slightly for the larger slide? I'm curious if the 22 slide fits and if the 22 magazine fits ok. Thanks in advance.
I asked the same question in this forum a few weeks ago, but didn't get any replies. ;4
I guess nobody has tried it. I might have to go to the source.

I e-mailed AA and asked them if the 17-22 kit would fit the G37. They said that they are not yet sure if it would work or not. They were told that the G37 may have a different trigger bar, and if that is the case, then the 17-22 kit may not work. They do not have a G37 to test and the G37 is not yet califoria approved. Oh well!:(

Just found this thread yesterday & went home to give my G17/G22/G31 AACK a try on my G37's frame. (Hadn’t even thought about the AACK & my G37 yet…) Haven't done a live fire with it yet, but the AACK went on the frame & dry-fired fine... magazines fit as well & 22 rounds feed fine from the mag into the chamber.
Looks like it’s going to work great!
I'll post my findings after I run some ammo through it tonight after work...
Oh boy. Let us know. thanks

After several magazines full of 22lr ammo, I can defiantly say that the G17/G22/G31 AACK worked great on the G37's frame.
Talked with Steve at AA both before & after this experiment. I did some quik measurements on his advice before the live fire test... everything checked out good.
Steve is planning to add the G37 to the list now for compatibility with the G17/G22/G31.
Another bit of info about the AACK... it shoots to POI with the 6.5mm fixed night sights. (Same sights that go on all 9/40/357 GLOCKs, except for the G33.) I have a set of Meps on mine. ;)
Thanks for the update Michigun. ;a

Many thanks, Michigun
Was there any doubt when you pulled that trigger the first time? Was your head turned away? :) I think mine would be!

Was there any doubt? Na. Should there have been? Possibly! ;)
To tell the truth, there was a little doubt... that's why I made it a point to talk with Steve at AA 1st! :) The only thing Steve was ever really worried about was if the AACK's firing pin safety was being disengaged fully by the G37's trigger bar, which he had heard was unique from all the others. It is a little different when compared to the others, but not different in the places where it counts, it turns out. If the G37’s trigger bar were not fully disengaging the firing pin safety on the AACK then damage to the firing pin/striker would have been probable.
In looking back, I probably should have at least worn my safety glasses! ;P

Just noticed this thread. Good news indeed!

It looks like Steve @ AA still hasn't been able to get the G37 added to his www sight yet... he said it may take him a bit though.
Oh, by the way... had a chance to put another 100 rounds through my AACK on top of my G37 frame... flawless!
